Adding Tools to the Developer Tools Menu

The following tasks describe how to add the Sun Studio software and the NetBeans IDE to the Developer Tools Menu.

How to Add Sun Studio to the Developer Tools Menu

1. Click System > Preferences > Main Menu.
2. Select the Developer Tools menu in the Menus sidebar.
3. Click New Item.
4. Add the following entries to the Create Launcher dialog box-Name: Sun Studio Command: /opt/SunStudioExpress/bin/sunstudio

How To Add NetBeans IDE in Developer Tools Menu

1. Click System > Preferences > Main Menu.
2. Select the Developer Tools menu in the Menus sidebar.
3. Click New Item.
4. Add the following entries in the Create Launcher dialog box-Name: NetBeans IDE Command: /opt/netbeans-6.0ss/bin/netbeans.
