Overview

The OpenSolaris 2008.05 release offers complete support for developing and deploying applications for the web. The application needed for development of web applications are available as packages in the pkg.opensolaris.org repository. The following sections describe how to download, and install additional packages to set up your development environment after you have installed OpenSolaris 2008.05 release on your system.
